Awana is a wonderful tool for the kids in our church. Our clubs and programs make Scripture memorization fun and are geared to the needs of a range of ages and grades. Awana works! Countless times, weÕve witnessed the way God has used our club programs to reach boys and girls for Christ.

WHAT IS UPWARD BASKETBALL?

The Upward Basketball purpose statements:
 

• To share the Love of Jesus Christ with each player, coach, referee and family member.
• To help every player develop self-esteem and a sense of personal value.
• To help every player develop character, an understanding of sportsmanship, and a respect for authority in any situation, on and off the court.
• To lead each child to grow as Jesus grew - spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially.
• To teach every player the fundamentals of basketball and to help them grow in their understanding and enjoyment of the sport.
