Ronnie has served the First Baptist Church of Lindale, Texas for the past 20 years as their Music Pastor. He loves to lead and teach people in singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. Before coming to Lindale, he served Trinity Baptist Church in Longview, Texas for 8 years. Ronnie has been Minister of Music in Southern Baptist Churches for 40 years. He has led music in numerous Revivals, Evangelism meetings and Bible Conferences. He received his music education and training at East Texas Baptist University. His wife Gwynda has been a constant support by his side all these years. Ronnie made the transition from the position of Music Pastor to Senior Adult Minister and Pastoral Care in the Fall of 2009. The Senior Adult population is the fastest growing group in the United States today. He is excited about the many opportunities of ministry to this group of people in our church and community.
