James has a passion to make God’s Word the center of all we do in ministry because He believes it is the tool God uses to change lives. He also has a heart to train people to teach and preach the Bible faithfully. Before joining the staff here in 2008, James served for 6 years at College Church in Wheaton working with singles and young adults as well as coordinating their annual Workshop on Biblical Exposition. James is a graduate of the University of Chicago and the Wheaton College Graduate School.
His wife, Karen, has a heart for God’s Word, missions, and underprivileged children. She served for 5 years at Little Lambs Ministries, a missions organization reaching the orphanages of Ukraine and Russia with the gospel. Now she stays home with their daughter Annie and son Jonathan.
James loves competition, watching and playing team sports, singing hymns, good conversation, and most of all, time with his family.
